What is The Power Platform Advisory?

At Changing Social, we understand that you need your IT team to be self-sufficient. That’s why we offer Power Platform Advisory services—so you can call upon experts in the industry without having to commit to full time project delivery and without having to employ your own consultant.

We deliver advisory services in blocks of time, based on [X] hours per week or per month. By doing this, your IT team can call upon best practice approaches and standards, and build their own confidence in their ability on an agreed day to deliver solutions. We offer advisory services in blocks of time—from “over the shoulder building” and “best practice for backlog and requirements definition” all the way up to just general consulting on how best to use the platform.

Our Approach

On-Site Visits

Our consultant can come and work with you ‘over the shoulder’ to help develop the solution on your screen in your environment. This is a great way to get hands-on support when you need it most and learn about The Power Platform from someone who knows it inside and out!

Remote Collaboration

If you’re not able to meet with us in person, we can also remotely connect with you for a screensharing session. This way, we can get solutions fast without having to arrange the logistics of travel.

Email and Teams Communications

Our consultant will be available via email and Teams to help with any quick-fire questions you may have between sessions as long as they’re not working elsewhere. This means that you can get the answers you need when you need them, without having to wait for the next scheduled session.

Best Practice

We’ll always advise you of the best practice approach, but we’ll recognise unique business scenarios where this may not be feasible due to licensing, technical architecture, or any other factor.

Flexibility

Timezones​

We have consultants in the UK and in the US, so we can accommodate most availability needs if you need help internationally or in unconventional hours.

Frequency

We are happy to set an initial monthly frequency for dedicated on-site and remote time, to give you confidence that we’ll be available when you need us.

Rolling Contract

We offer short and medium-term contracts to ensure that you’re getting what you need, which can be renewed after 3 or 6 months continuously.
