Alongside this, Teams is also introducing Quick Share for images, making it easier to share pictures and copy image links from chats, channels and shared tabs.

SharePoint News Becomes More Engaging

Internal communications teams and intranet managers will benefit from enhancements to the SharePoint News web part.

Microsoft is introducing a new Filmstrip layout that presents news stories in a more visually engaging format, helping organisations showcase important content more effectively.

In addition, news can now be aggregated from multiple SharePoint sites into a single news feed. This makes it easier for organisations with multiple departments or business units to create a unified communications experience while still allowing content to be managed locally.

One standout feature is the new Agentic Workflow Builder in Copilot Studio. Rather than manually building workflows step-by-step, makers can describe what they want to automate using natural language, and Copilot Studio will generate the workflow structure automatically.

Microsoft is also introducing new document generation capabilities within Power Automate. Organisations will be able to generate contracts, onboarding documents, letters and other paperwork automatically using structured data collected through SharePoint forms.
